Therapy is an investment in you and you alone. One hour out of the other 167 hours of the week for yourself, to clear the road forward, to improve your relationships, or simply to work through emotions and difficulties.
Why not just talk to your friends or family? Sometimes we need someone who has no skin in the game, someone who will not judge, or share what you have said with others. As a therapist, I do not have a preconception of you, and I am bound by the law to keep your sessions confidential. My work is to help you, not to judge your actions or emotional process.
Therapy can develop skills that can improve your relationships, your effectiveness, and eliminate the things that no longer work for you. I am comfortable doing short-term, mid and long-term therapy, depending on what is the best fit for your needs.
